I did change to a K&N air filter on my 3YM30 and going back to the stock air cleaner because of so much more noise,my engine is so guiet but too much noise up in cockpit and forget about the noise down below. Nick

The air filter is a K&N (you can just make the "K-N" out from right-to-left upside down in the black rubber top). Just measure the size of the intake unit - and then find one of the universal filters on the K&N web-site. That's essentially how I fit a K&N on my Univ M3-20. You can get K&N online or at any of big - and small - auto parts stores. I like how the PVC was done here better than what I did - I'll probably re-work my set-up a bit.
