The lid gasket is a common replacement item as they come with replacement filters. Most owners of Racor Turbine filters will be familiar with the replacement of these.


Just be sure that you don't have any twists in this gasket or it will not seal properly. Twists are tough to see so look carefully. The gasket is square in cross section, not round, making twists problematic in terms of diesel leaks.
