Filling The "Sucking" Hose

As you can see I've sucked the turkey baster full of antifreeze and am now pre-filling the hose to the water pump.

I get around the priming issue with the use of a gravity bucket: a bucket with a hose attached with valve on the end of the hose. I hang it from the dodger. The hose is long enough to reach engine, A/C, and water pump. With the bucket higher than any system exit, gravity is enough to purge the system.
