I was born in Nelson and lived there until I was 8 when we emigrated to the US. That's going on 53 years ago. I returned once, in 2002, and fell in love with the town of my happy childhood memories. I have since learned that Nelson is considered a sort of crime-ridden dump, an object of scorn. Your beautiful photos penetrate the gloomy identity of the town and capture its charms and the wonderful geographic location it occupies. Thanks very much.
