In 1976, Bali was a delightful, pleasant, laid back destination on the overland trail from Europe to Australia. The people were delightfully friendly, the culture exciting and it was cheap. I was there in 1976 and I thought I had forgotten all those places until I saw your photographs and I could smell the spices and hear the sounds

i love your pictures very much even the pictures taken before i born. i was born november 1977. with these pictures i could see situation in bali so peacefull & the people look very natural. i hope you could come again to bali david.. and share the photos to the people all around the world show them that bali now very peacefull situation. thx

I have not returned to Bali since 1976. These pics capture Bali then. I will always treasure the memory.
