Targoviste is my home town and the pictures were taken on my visit there, in November 2005. The subject is mainly the atmosphere itself, the way I felt it in those golden autumn days, with an almost surreal feeling of being out of time... many years back in time...

The locations are two of the places I love the most, the road towards Dealu Monastery (built around 14th century) and Chindiei Park (where is located the old Royal Court, also from the 14th century). In those old times, Targoviste was the capital of the Romania's southern part (called then Valachia) as well as the fortress of Vlad the Empaler (from where the legend of Dracula originated).
