No more than a decade ago, the details of this world could remain unknown for ages (or for ever). Now, in this era of communication, everything comes out into the open. It's thrilling and exhausting at the same time, it's liberating and incarcerating. We need to train our awareness and learn to disconnect from the flow of the news, to discriminate and decide what deserves our attention and how we want to be influenced by what we take in.
Personally, I choose to bring out the beauty of the world. The beauty that never ceases to amaze me, that reveals itself in new ways all over again. Everywhere I look, the miracle of creation makes a strong statement of individuality, from the undeniable power of a landscape to the touching fragility of a flower. And the queen of it all is the Light. She can make it or break it.

I would like to thank all of you who take the time to write opinions and feelings regarding my pictures. I appreciate and value learning what kind of impact they have on the viewer and your comments help me do exactly that.
