The images are of Finley Milburn, 4 months old at the time the pics were taken (a couple of weeks ago). I chose to shoot with two flash heads, 1 @ 45 degrees either side of Finley, pointed into white brollies. And placed finley on a white quilt, this would act as a reflector to get light into the underside of Finleys features and also make it comfortable for him!! I set the exposure to 1 stop over to bleach out the whites. I prefer this type of portrait style because as well as getting rid of any background destractions it flatters and accentuates the skin tones and really makes the viewer focus on the face and makes the eyes look healthy and bright. These two images were opened in photshop after capture and the curves slightly lifted to brighten the images more. Also the eyes where selected and the saturation very lightly increased. I also made a selection outside the facial area and added some gaussian blur to again help the viewer focus on the face.
