Sepia (Johny Alives)

The photo was taken in July of 2004 in the Jardin des Tuilleries in Paris - created by the greatest French garden and landscape designer. Andre Le Notre.

The obviously out of shape tourists sleeping on the bench are contrasted to the two slim young Parisian girls briskly walking past. Neither the tourists nor the two girls appear to be connected in any way to the beauty and timelessness of the gardens - the tourists, too tired to appreciate, and the girls too absorbed with their day to day lives - are totally oblivious to their surroundings.

They all are either "future" or "past-minding" and are not truly in the "present", where the only true reality exists
