When first starting high school, we walked this bridge nearly everyday.
Then the snow would get too high sometimes and you'd have to go the long way.
The long way added about 2-3 blocks and was on the south side of a large athletic field
that faced north. Something to consider when it was -10F and the wind was blowing about 20 mph.
