I came around a corner and these two were walking down the boardwalk. I was wishing for a longer lens (this one was 140mm 35mm equiv)..but luckily was fairly close...almost too close.
The adult kept watching me very closely...and later saw another adult in the high grass right at this spot and another juvenile.
These are big birds and very loud. So I followed at a distance...since I didn't want have to take an up close and personal shot:-) I don't think the youngsters could fly yet.
