Passing Ship on an Inland Sea

There used to be a lot more ship traffic on the Great Lakes...
long ago I can remember seeing 3 or 4 at once passing far out off Port Washington.
Now if one is seen it's amazing. Still wonder where they are bound and where they are from....This one was bound for Manitowoc, as I soon found out. We drove down when we realized and many people were going down to get a good look...as she headed up the Manitowoc River (a very narrow channel and a very hard turn at the old railroad drawbridge with only inches to spare) and most of us think turning into a tight space at a shopping mall is difficult! It was quite something to observe.
