Thanks much Simon. This is one of those that I didn't really plan, but saw when editiing, how the the foreground and the trees contrasted in directional flow. It's funny how sometimes I'll take a photo, and sense (more than know) that there is something a little different about it...not really understanding quite what until I view it full screen. Sometimes I think photography can be more intuitive as opposed to more planned, much as the difference between say watercolors and oils, or improvisational Jazz as opposed to more structured forms.
