Love the native horses and great " Art Work " they put on them. These natives of the Colville Confederated Tribes ( Of Which There Are Thirteen ) Are a Part Of This Confederation And Race Their Horses As They Have Done For 200 Years. The Nez Pierce Tribe ( Of Chief Joseph, Yellow Wolf Fame ) Were great Warriors And Still Are Today. It is amazing how many have fought and died in all our wars even today. ( Even Though We lied and mistreated these tribes ) They were the " True " natives of the Northwest. Today, we are slowly becoming over population by foreigners from south of the border. This must be how they felt 150 years ago when we booted these proud people to reservations.... ( My own personal take.... )
