To see them these Natives " Fly " down this hill in a " Nano Second " is just amazing. Horses must to 5 years old in order to complete and to have stroung enough bones . The " Colville Tribe " has been doing this race for hundreds of years.. ( Before Omak , they raced on an even higher cliff near Keller untill the building of the Grand Coulee Damm washed out their spot where they held " Salmon days " After that dam was built, no Salmon go past . ( Dam was built with no fish latters and wiped out up stream runs...... )
