One week after climbing Mt. Rainier, my face looked like a 85 year old Navaho. Soon large layers of skin peeled off like toilet paper and even my skin on my lips. Climbers mostly used zinc oxide back then ( crown cream I called it) Bottom line is a sweated in off on a hot 2 day trip, hence,, the look.......
