These pictures are truly wonderful. My aunt Jeanine Whitehall Merchant told me a story that she bought her first truck, a 1934 Model B Ford for $150 from Lawrence Courtney up at Stehekin when she was 16, while working at a cafe up there with her mother Mary Whitehall. Lawrence was the brother of Aunt Jeanine's boss. Would anyone know the name of the restaurant or have a picture of it?
