Actually seeing these around your place is a good thing and worth their weight in gold by keeping down mice,, and even rattlesnakes.. These snakes will kill and " Choke Down " a rattler nearly as big as it is.. This one was about 2 feet long and found it on my hillside watering our fruit trees..
