Ok,, not,,, this is the famous " Grandma Gatewood " who was a great long distance hiker in the 60's and early 70's. ( 1887-1973 ) She did the whole AT in 1955 to become the first woman to hike the trail in one season. ( She raised 11 kids,, then divorced.. She did the AT several times and last hiked the AT in 1967. At age 71, she attempted the PCT, but age finally stopped her. She passed away at age 85 June 5th, 1973..
