Just picked this up from a friend " Charles " from work. Mint shape really. In the mid 20's Coleman started building pumps " On " the lantern and wasn't till about 1930 that the pumps were built into the tank. The globe here is vintage, but original lantern from 1926 would have had a " Mica Globe " . Pyrex didn't appear till about 1930 as well. ( Came home and gave this lantern a quick bath in boiling vinigar and water to clean it up a bit. This one came with a R-55 generator which was a replacement for the original Q-99 generator with the little " Loop " in it. Dated on side of tank 6- 4. Which means made in 1926 in April. Later the month was displayed before the year,, but in the twenties,, Coleman displayed the year first. By knowing the model, I could darte it was from 1926 ,not 1936,1916, or 1946,,etc.,,,
