i should add that even shooting in black and white is not very easy for me nowadays, because i like more blacks.
but in the strong sun, the light just seems to glare too much..
also i guess it's because i'm stuck in delhi.. one of the dullest cities in the world :)

hey now this is aVERY GOOD photograph..
love the patterns creates by the wooden stilts.. the men on the stilts is a big big bonus and so is the flying bird
kind of reminds me of a couple of raghu rai photographs
i have to ask you something though..
how can you stand these colours..
i mean.. i've never ever liked such harsh colours.. this is a photograph that i'd love to see on a black and white print.. maybe shot on an hp5 or a tri-x
this is perhaps the only reason why i'm not shooting in olour anymore. absolutely detest the colours of india..
i'm sure lots of people won't share the same thought as mine.. but the sun is a little too harsh ... don't you think? and somehow the south east asian colours score over indian colours.. atleast in terms of photography
what do you think?
i'll see you around later maciej
take care :)
