I pulled the driftwood from the Kickapoo River last Saturday... near where I took the upcoming picture ("Three in a River").

It looks like an antelope larynx. Do you see the thyroid cartilage? Just below this, you would insert a needle to ventilate the animal, should it require a surgical airway.

Alternatively you could burn it, for fuel.
