The pictures here are taken in Haghartsin, Haghpat, Sanahin, Akhtala and Odzun, which have buildings in a range from 6th to 13th century, and some parts even early 4th century. Amazingly, this is just a small selection of all of Armenia's monasteries.
I hope my pictures convey some sense of the atmosphere in these silent places.
