Butterflies found around pond and yard in northeastern Oklahoma. Many of the pictures are taken around an old patch of Purple Cone flowers near the pond.
These plants are the perennial survivors of an attempt long ago to establish a wild flower patch.
Later, a patch of thistles in a field next to the pond was productive. Missing identifications are waiting on available time and interest.
