We've lived here ten years and this is the first time that we ever made it down to the Stockyards in Fort Worth. It's a fun place, with lots of atmosphere and a thoroughly enjoyable group of re-enactors who perform a "shootout" show a couple of times per day. There is a small example of a cattle drive, and lots of good restaurants and fun, touristy type shops.
