Using a flatbed scanner as a digital camera, one can "photograph" objects. The neat thing about scanography is that the images are life sized.
I have just started experimenting with scanography. There are some artists who create compositions to be scanned, and others who put together their art from layers of scanned image.

So far I am scanning single items that I find interesting.
