Lernerville Speedway opened in 1967.

One of the best-maintained and successful dirt tracks in the country, Lernerville features the big 3- Late models, sprints and V-8 modifieds along with the pure stocks, every week.

The track itself has been enlarged three times, from a small quarter to a large quarter, and then to a 3/8-mile, and finally to its current size as a small half mile.
Seating has also been increased several times and now there are approximately 12,000 seats.

I started going to the races here during the early-70s, but after moving to Texas, I only get there once a year when I visit my family. I try to bring my father who is in his 80s
and an avid photographer. He doesn't get out much anymore, so he really enjoys the crowd, the cars and the opportunity to shoot lots of pictures.
