Tom and I were going to attend the Sugar Land New Year's Eve festivities after supper, but it started to rain
at 8 p.m. and it poured cold rain until well past midnight. Of course, I didn't want to carry my camera around
in the wet weather, and we ended up at home watching the televised NYE celebration from New York City.
It was a quiet evening.
