GEARHEADS

Sarver PA

Urban Dictionary description - A person who is into all things motorized. This can be cars, motorcycles, machines, planes, or boats,
but specifically relating to the engine and power delivery. Knowing how to weld and machine metal are also traits of a gearhead.

I always hung out with the "gear head" crowd.
Always liked being around cars, spending many evenings in a garage, drinking beer and discussing how to make the car run faster.
We had a lot of street racing fun and later graduated to racing at the local dirt track.
I still love the sound of fast car and the sweet smell of high performance fuel.
Now, the funny part about this story... My dear husband is the least mechanical person I've ever met.
He has to take the car to the shop for every little repair. LOL

I worked at a race track as a teen. While the sounds of cars racing around the track is annoying to some, it's very soothing to me. Heard them every Friday night while growing up.
