Another great day in Nairobi! After a lovely breakfast at the Norfolk Hotel, and a briefing by Daniel on the up-coming safari, we headed out to David Sheldrick's Wildlife Trust to see the elephants at the public viewing at 11:00. This was our fourth time here as well - and we never tire of it. Of course I was standing in the wrong place at the right time when one of the younger elephants decided to splash everyone behind him with red mud! I still proudly wear the 'red blotch stains' on my pants.
Next up Langata Giraffe Center to pet, feed and kiss the Rothschild Giraffe - that's always such fun. This was followed by a delicious Carnivore lunch - we never tire of this either. It's always such a good meal.
From here we tried to get to the Railroad Museum but got stuck in a stand-still-for-two-hours traffic jam. It was downtown at least, so we never tired of the sights even though we sat for hours. We diarized the Railroad Museum for another day & went to the hotel to 'repack' for the safari.

The ellies love those bottles!
"I'm SOOOO tired!"
As they like to muck about in the mud, the elephants match the colour of the soil
And now so do I!! I was standing in the right place at the wrong time & really got splattered when they were mucking about!
