After a delicious breakfast at The Farmhouse (very early) we headed out to drive the short distance to the crater. And, as always - the crater did not disappoint! We saw lots of animals on both the morning and the afternoon game drives, and had a really good lunch at the hippo pool. Seated in the van of course - we didn't want to share our lunch with the wildlife or birdlife!
In the late afternoon we ascended on the Sopa road and had a wonderful evening and night at the Sopa Lodge.
