Maasai Mara - Bateleur Camp May 29, 2009

Leaving Nanyuki exactly on time on the Air Kenya flight at 10:00, we landed at the Kichwa Tembo airstrip in the Mara at 11:00. We had no stopovers to let off passengers, as we were the only passengers on the plane! For the last two safaris we have stayed at the And Beyond property of Kichwa Tembo, this year we opted for the Bateleur property. After a delicious lunch and a bit of a rest, we went out for the afternoon game run. But instead of going back to the camp for supper, Bateleur surprised us with a bush dinner on the edge of the Mara River! Cool!
