Denali National Park

This was to be a real mixed bag of weather day up here in Denali. First it rained in the morning, and then it stated snowing. "See", mom said, "we did need our fur coats!" Unfortunately with the luggage limits these days on the planes; it would be impossible for us to bring our winter coats!
We were booked on the 2 pm shuttle, late yes, but it is after all the land of the midnight sun. The shuttle bus was comfortable, but cold, you really did need the toque and gloves. It was a nice day though, the scenery was spectacular, and we did see wildlife, albeit from a distance. Polychrome Pass though was s-c-a-r-r-y; I really thought driving through the park would be all flat, little did I know! Passing another bus on that really narrow road on the side of a mountain was such fun!
