London June 15, 2006

After a long night flight, we arrived in London. We made our way to the Shepiston Lodge, napped a bit, showered and then headed out to town by bus, train and underground. We had purchased Fast Track tickets over the internet for the London Eye, and we were so glad! The fast track tickets allowed us to skip all of the line ups, and be in a small group with our own live guide in one of the capsules. It was lovely and worth every penny. After disembarking, we caught a series of buses to get to the Sherlock Holmes Museum at 221B Baker Street. Following this, we met two of the Afree-kah enthusiasts from the Fodors board - Kavey and Julian at Fogg's Restaurant for supper. Simply divine food and fabulous company!

The line ups to board the Eye were long, but we had a fast track ticket that bypassed all of them.
