June 1, 2013 Serengeti to Nairobi

Oh no! today, our safari would finish - not our adventure mind you, but the safari portion would. From the Seronera airstrip we flew to Arusha, Kilimanjaro and then onto Nairobi. For the first time we had to pay extra on our luggage - by now it was really overweight, the total cost was $64.00 USD extra.
Daniel met us at the gate in Nairobi and swooshed us off to the Railway Museum that traffic had prevented us from seeing the day we were in Nairobi before the safari. It was fun - it is a well done museum and we learned a lot!
We checked into the Boma Hotel, a new hotel that had recently opened in Nairobi, and met Kennedy, Val, Sarah and Daniel for dinner which was great!

The Boma hotel, it's quite nice, but looks too much like a business hotel for me.
