Many thanks to Susan C. for sparking my DSLR interest. I've always loved taking photographs with my P&S, but was afraid to even touch a "real" camera. However, a P&S couldn't effectively capture the memories of my daughter's sports, so I took the leap, and it's been a blast learning this new hobby. Not to mention the fact that after all these years, I still don't understand all the rules of soccer. So instead of sitting on the sidelines like a slug during her games, I now have something fun to do. There is still lots to learn, and I need lots of practice, but I hope to improve along the way and maybe one day I'll have something that elicits a "Wow"!.
