M.S Subbulakshmi was a renowned Carnatic vocalist. She was also honored as the court-singer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams.
Venkateswara Suprabhatam (musical hymns to awaken Lord Balaji early in the morning)was one of her best dedication to the Lord.
She was the first musician ever to be awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honor.
