739. Craigowl sky

12 August 2006

Sometimes you are just supposed to laze about the house doing very little indeed. Even when you have work to do and have missed a deadline by more than a couple of weeks. Even although the sun is splitting the pavements outside. Today was just such a day. I wanted to drive up to the Moray Firth in the hope of seeing the dolphins. Linda wanted to sleep. While she slept, I gently froze in the pool. Just about thawed out now.

I was just thinking. Today is not a good day to be a grouse. I'll bet they don't think that it is the Glorious Twelfth!

Awesome shot, Stu! Very impressive. With a little imagination the clouds look like a dragon rearing up in the sky.
