Saving the Co-worker!

The second and last day of our tour arrived as expected. I nipped into town to get the Sunday papers, then dropped in on Zak, who, as you will no doubt be aware, was being visited by Northstar and his three children. An arrangement was made to meet up later on at Ettrick Bay... well, when I say an arrangement was made, what I really mean to say is that I said I had to visit some relatives, but that I would do my best to be at Ettrick by 1-1.30pm, and that if they managed to make it, then we'd see each other. As it transpired, Liam and I got held up and arrived later than we expected, while Andy and his posse had turned up on time only to see that the cafe was full and that I wasn't one of the ones filling it - so they decided to go somewhere less popular instead. Liam and Paddy got themselves dirty exploring the wreck while I sat in the cafe eating an omlette, drinking a coffee and reading the paper. All too soon it was time to tear ourselves away, as I still had to see my brother (he's a R*****s' fan, and I accepted his invitation to watch the Hearts v. Celtic game). I was on time for the second half, which is the perfect gloating period. He leapt 10 feet in the air when Hearts scored, then I leapt 15 feet (metaphorically) when Celtic won. Looks like the title is ours now... but I won't rub it in. At last it was finally time to make back for Dundee, so we said our farewells and headed off for the Rhubodach ferry. The sun was splitting the skies, making it a wonderful journey. As usual, we stopped off at Arrochar for a refreshment break before getting caught up in the Loch Lomond traffic jam. All in all, we had a great weekend: the sun was up, the sky was blue, Bute was at its best and the west of Scotland was the warmest place in the British Isles... Who could possibly ask for more?

I love that big shirt that covers his hands, the wind that blows in his hair, this young man could be a model for a big shot agency. This is a really cool looking image.

I like how you've captured the wind in Liam's hair and Paddy's motion as he seems to slide.. well done in b&w
