Assorted railroad pictures from 1983 to 1997.

I started taking railroad pictures in 1983. The first shots were taken on my birthday, June 22. I went with a few friends to Fort Madison, Iowa and my first shot is the Santa Fe GP30 2770 shown below. It was sunrise and I should have waited for more light, but they were moving the locomotive and I was anxious to get my shooting started. I hope you enjoy the variety.

Nice PC X73 box...HD's probably foaming over the Hiawatha painted SD40-2!
