The photos of most of these trucks came from my "Northwest Railpics" web site (www.trainweb.org/nwrp/). It's old and not maintained any more. In the titles above, following the "6-" is the model manufacturer (i.e. ASF) followed by the model. I have a new site "Freight Cars Illustrated" (www.fcix.info) where I sell "eBooks" related to freight cars (Adobe PDF files on CD). Volume 9 is called "Freight Car Appliances" which includes about 200 8" wide photographs of just trucks, identified with the manufacturer, the model, date built and the date of the photograph. There's a reference table that identifies the foundry logos on trucks. I've learned a lot from researching trucks since the photos above were posted and the eBook goes into pretty good detail. There's a sample file for each eBook available on the web site to see what each volume looks like. It really is an excellent reference for modelers (as are the other volumes on the site). And they're pretty cheap! The book also has sections on doors, hand brakes, ends and roofs. Check it out...Darrell Sawyer
