Hi dose anybody remember my mothers or fathers families my mother is June Rose Clements nee Dowell she grew up with 2 sisters Norah and Joyce they lived in Vincent Gardens
My father Barry Clements was born in Chestnut street Sittingbourne but moved with the family to Minster he had 10 sisters and 1 brother at one time he was manager of Goodhews Butchers in Sheerness High st but later drove a lorry for Sheppard Neame brewery in the town i was born at Minster hospital in 1959 living in Fomblanque rd until we move to Portsmouth in 1964/5
although young when we left the island it is still very much home

born at Minster Hospital in the late 30's I spent many happy days on those clay cliffs and on the beach , with the old barges left to rot on the beach at Minster!! Its nice to see the Abbey in good repair, our dad made the cross for the tower and renovated the church with his empoyer in the 50's.
Lots of new houses everywhere on my recent re visit-- happy days, Superb new Ferry bridge too. Daphne -nee Whiddett.

Excellent.I am very fond of the 'multi's'...plus a magnifying glass and a bit of detection, I track down another card by John Griffiths.
