Hello, In the photo of "Bell Farm 2003," are these the original Bell Farm Buildings? If so, where are they located on Bell Farm Lane? We live in Ontario, Canada, and will be visiting Sheppey in May. My wife's ancestor, Abel Ingleton, was born at Bell Farm in 1873, and came to Canada about 1883.

Well, well, I am not sure how to contact you directly Allan, but my Great Grandmother Bessie Bishop was born in the farmhouse in 1866. The following 2 years were tragic for the family and in 1872 her Grandfather, Thomas Bishop (1803-1872), Blacksmith/Grazier died and the family left the farm. Bessie's sister, mother and father are all buried in the Minster Abbey graveyard, but the memorials have been moved to the side and become overgrown, so their actual graves positions are unknown. Good health, BillR

Hi Allan
The Building with the brown door was the club/pub house,Small Building next to the club stowage area for the beer and barrels, small Building on the other side was the site office. The brown ground was the food shop.
The house is grade two listed Building.
In the 1950s Mr.Mrs bennets they died in car Accident on the Sheppey bridge in 1965 and the Ward family took over and sold it on.
Bell farm house end of bell farm you need to go to Ashcroft Coast Holiday Park in Plough Road top end of bell farm lane.
Have a great day in May.

I remember it being the club house, I was told the building on the far right was a cow shed.
