I lived on the Isle of Sheppey from 1941 until about 1963 and attended Halfway Primary,Sheerness Secondary and then the "Tech"in the Broadway,by the way my name is Dave Yates. I am now living in Perth Western Australia after emigrating in 1973.In the photo of Minster Rd Halfway I was born in the second bay windowed house on the right,the first house on the left was lived in by Mr&Mrs Terry who ran the local Butchers.The phone box on the right was outside the P.Office which was run by Mr&Mrs Martin who also ran the Greengrocers shop next to the Butchers.If anyone remembers me please email to dcyates@aapt,net.au
