My Grandfather attended the Nore Gunnery School (HMS Wildfire) as a Petty Officer from 6th March 1902 to 7th January 1903 and then posted to HMS Rosario as a Petty Officer from 17th March 1903 to 6th April 1904 Would it be possible to have a copy of this photo please? and if anybody knows where the ship was stationed during this time I would be very grateful. I assume it's the China Station but I'm not sure.
Many thanks.

Dear Curtis,
I would be very interested in the photograph you mention, My Grandfather served on this ship in Hong Kong around 1915.

WILLIAM BETTON (RMLI) SERVED ON THIS SHIP BETWEEN 06/11/1913 AND 12/03/1915.

I have a photo (undated, un-notated) of the crew of the HMS Rosario. 16 officers/petty officers/midshipmen and 43 men. Appears to be early 20th century by the officers' caps, but difficult to tell; recovered family album runs from late 1800's to WW II. The crew is posed in front of a large, thatch-roofed and thatch sided, bamboo-stayed building (appears oriental).

I think the buildings behind HMS Rosario are the Gunnery School (HMS Wildfire) directly behond the ship. The building next door to the Gunnery School contains: the Machinery Shed & Gun Mounting store and seaman's Wash House. Behind these buildings is the Boat House/Store (Which is the only building out of these that still exists at the old dockyard)
