In the '60s it must have been in use as there was quite a large boat park next to it as I remember. The very distinctive sound of the rigging wires clanging against the masts in the wind! Must have driven the residents crazy. I can't remember, but looking at the brickwork, this must have been a new building in the '60s.
Is this building in use. as many years ago, I seem to remember cycling past it or my late father and l at the time driving past it and me seeing broken windows and stuff like that. it used to scare me as a young boy.
