The Pink Ribbon

Late last year, a client and friend, asked me why, with all the women I have worked with over the years, have I not become involved in the fight against Breast Cancer.
This hit me like a hammer, and I knew she was correct. I have never had to be a part of this fight in my life. The only time a man truly thinks about this is when someone close to him, is put into the fight of her life. There are so many deadly cancers related solely to women.
I know that men can also get breast cancer and other cancers as well, however my purpose is to try to raise men's awareness in this fight and to join in.

Actually, Lucky's contribution to the battle against breast cancer goes further back than this...on a personal level ...when I was alone and newly separated, and at high risk for breast cancer. I had to go in for a biopsy and didn't have anyone to even pick me up after surgery. Lucky picked me up and supported me through my fear that I was about to lose my femininity. In the days following, he and Maureen offered their hospitality until I was ready to face the world again. Guys, the most important contribution you can make, until there is a cure, is to be there for the women in your lives that might have to face this horrible disease. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Lucky.

Lucky I love this gallery you are right on with this I have let some Breast Cancer groops use some of my pink roses at no charge
