Kite World Championship Berck-sur-Mer 2008

The sixth World Sport Kite Championships will be held in Berck sur Mer, France from 08- 10 April, 2008. The invited teams are now shown at the Competitors tab in the site navigation. France will host the event in even numbered years. The WSKC organizing committee is accepting qualified applications to hold the competition in odd years, starting with 2009. The event will be held on the beach at Berck sur Mer, France, at the same time and location as the Berck International Kite Festival...

I like the color and shape of kites .
In my land we call theme "papagaio" (parrot" in Brasil) , "pipa". In S.Paulo. The Pipasīs Championship was very straight forward: the cable was put into some glue and covered by powder of glasse.The game was to make the string or cable cut the cable of the other , the only survival was the champion
