The first experiment is with the freeware program CombineZ5. The last image is a stacked composite of the other 4. All 4 images were taken with the Canon 350D, Tamron 28-75 lens at 1/30s, 75mm, f2.8, iso 200 without flash, tripod mount. The only thing changed between photos was the focus point. The closest battery was about 15 inches from the camera, the furthest was about 21 inches.
