Photos were taken during a trip to Java between 29 of March and 1 of May 1994,Started my trip in the capital Jakarta visited the old city Kota and the Sunda Kelapa harbour, then took a train to Bogor and wandered around in the famous Botanical Gardens, then I continued by bus to Bandung and explored among other places the Tangkuban Prahu volcano and the tea plantations at Ciwidey, then I took a bus to Cirebon and went to the Kraton or Sultan's palaces, then I crossed the island to Pangandaran on the south coast and trekked in Pangandaran Nature reserve, the trip continued up to Wonosobo from where I explored the Dieng Plataeu with the Arjuna temple compex and some hot springs, from here I took another bus down to Yogyakarta the cultural heart of Java with it's Kraton and Water Palace, from here I also did daytrip to the magnificent Borobudur buddhist temple and the Prambanan hindu temples, then I continued to another royal city Surakarta (Solo)with it's own Kraton and I did a daytrip up to the mysterious " sex" temple Candi Sukuh, the trip then went on to Blitar famous for Candi Panataran temples and as the burial place of the expresident Sukarno, then finally I stayed a few days in Probolinggo from where I did a daytrip up to Mount Bromo.
